Warm up and get some Donuts
Eric qualified for the 2007 Boston Marathon by running a time under 3 hours 10 minutes in the Cape Cod Marathon on October 29, 2006.See www.capecodmarathon.com for details about the marathon. check the results you will find Eric at #80 out of 1200 entrants.
Cape Cod Marathon
On Sunday October 29th, 2006 Eric started a marathon race at 8:30 AM in Falmouth, MA. The weather was very windy with gusts up to 50 mph. The time to beat was 3 hours 10 minutes and 59 seconds. This would meet Eric's goal of qualifying for the 2007 Boston Marathon. Sure enough after a 26 mile 385 yard run Eric crossed the finish line in a little over 3 hours and nine minutes.His friend Kat was there to cheer him on to the finish line and take a few photos.
